The Foundation Parnell Retirement Village, Parnell

Generus Living Group engaged Flow as their traffic engineer in their development of a retirement building in Parnell. The redevelopment includes new multi-storey luxury retirement homes and office spaces within the block of land bounded by Parnell Road, George Street, Titoki Street and Maunsell Road.

Flow is heavily involved in all transport and traffic matters from basement parking design, internal site circulation and construction traffic plan. We provided Transportation Assessment reports for the Resource Consent applications for the various stages of the development.

The key challenge is the multiple uses of the wider site which includes the Jubilee Building, Parnell Library, ACG College, Birthcare Auckland and more. Flow worked with Generus Living Group in maintaining access and parking for the stakeholders during the multiple stages of construction.

Changes to the public road were approved through the Auckland Transport bylaw process to accommodate new vehicle crossings on Parnell Road and Maunsell Road. Flow prepared the Traffic and Parking Changes Report as part of this process.
