Flow has worked with the University of Auckland on a range of projects and we continue to provide ongoing traffic and transportation advice to the largest university in New Zealand. The large size of the University and the location in the heart of Auckland City means it is important to promote a wide range of travel options for students, to promote accessibility.
Flow was responsible for providing transport engineering advice in support of the fourth to seventh series’ of the television series ‘The Block’, each filmed in a different location across Auckland. This included providing technical advice to support the design process, assessing the transport effects in support of the resource consent process, developing Temporary Traffic Management Plans for the construction and television production, preparing temporary road resolutions and liaising with Auckland Transport, Auckland Council and the local communities.
Selected as the transport specialists as part of the overall consultant team preparing the Hobsonville Peninsula Comprehensive Development Plan, Flow has been involved in this major development in Auckland since 2006.
The Cornwall Park Board of Trustees engaged international experts to lead the development of a 100-year Master Plan for Cornwall Park. Flow was invited to join the international design team and provide expertise on transport matters pertaining to the transport network supporting access to, and within, Cornwall Park.
