2008 TDM Conference

As a sequel to 2006's highly successful conference, Flow organised and sponsored the 2nd Annual Conference on Travel Demand Management that was held in March 2008.

Travel Demand Management is becoming an increasingly important tool for the management of traffic congestion and parking and influencing the demand for travel and how and when trips take place.  This conference debated a number of "hot topics" which are of paramount importance to transport planners and travel plan practitioners as they deliver travel plans within the context of the New Zealand land use planning structure.

The conference was held on Tuesday the 11th of March 2008 at the Rendezvous Hotel on Mayoral Drive, in the Auckland Central Business District.
