Flow had several important roles in planning for the Rugby World Cup events in Auckland:
- Between 2006 and 2010 we assisted Auckland City Council in reviewing proposals for the redevelopment of Eden Park. This included assistance in all aspects of the transport provision for the stadium redevelopment, such as the Transport and Traffic Management Plans, assessments of pedestrian circulation internal and external to the stadium, and various alternatives for the provision of public transport
- We were involved in various aspects of the planning for the World Cup related events in the Auckland City centre. This included assessing the cumulative effects of temporary road closures for each game at Eden Park as the tournament progressed (including the two semi finals, the Bronze Final and the Final)
- We were responsible for preparing the Transport Management Plan for the four World Cup matches held at North Harbour Stadium.
