Kit McLean - Principal Transport Planner
Kit has worked as a transport planner for 13 years and has experience in both New Zealand and the UK. With a planning background he is a strong believer in the need to integrate transport and land use; both in a wider strategic sense as well as at the project level. His long time passion for all things cycling and many years commuting by bike has also helped form his opinions on the importance of sustainable transport – both passenger transport and active modes - in urban areas.
Kit's experience working for Transit New Zealand in Auckland, London Borough of Southwark and Manukau City Council has given him good insights into what drives central and local government clients. While his time as a consultant at WS Atkins (London), Opus (Auckland) and now Flow ensures he knows the importance of working with a range of clients to deliver successful projects on time and budget. Kit has a particular focus on delivering successful projects through good relationships and strong project management. He has been part of the project management team for many high profile projects such as AMETI and the Manukau Central Station and MIT development in Auckland and the London Bus Initiative schemes in the UK. |
